Which qualities contemporary art videos must have for being suitable for an audience of kids from 0 to 14 years old? Which are the channels available for dissemination of the art devoted to the youngest? Which kind of relation is created between the artist, the video and the audience?
On December 13th, 2017, at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, in the frame of Digitalife, the artist Iginio De Luca, KIZART’s curator, Raffaella Frascarelli and the education department of Palazzo delle Esposizioni, will explore these and other themes. The starting point will be De Luca’s video Se penso a quel giorno (If I think to that day).
The artist will talk about his creative experience that led him to mix memories of his childhood with the adulthood identity. The Education Department will explain the importance of the art in the education of the younger. The curator will focus on the new December programme.
This moment of dialogue and sharing well represent the whole KIZART project, whose aim is to create a community of adults sensitive respect to the themes of education and art as instrument of cultural mediation.
