On the occasion of the exhibition Per Andare dove dobbiamo andare per dove dobbiamo andare? (To go where we have to go, where do we have to go?), Nomas Foundation presents the lecture Developing in HARD TIMES: developing a videogame as a critic to the "decorum society" by Ivan Preziosi.
Hard Times is an extreme urban survival game where you have to put yourself into the shoes of a homeless man, taking on all the challenges that daily survival places in the great metropolis of indifference. A reflection on the role of the rhetorics of decorum and security in the form of video game, that oblige us to a sudden change of perspective.
