The project Anni ’80: lo specchio infranto. Visioni di un passato prossimo (Eighties: The Broken Mirror. Vision from a Recent Past) is structured in six appointments in which will be involved personality of different generations, with a wide scale of experiences, interests and professional skills.
The aim of these closed-door meetings is to propose a structured imagine of the so-called “brief decade” of the Twenty-century, through an historical recognition of events, aspirations, achievements, needs and fears that have characterized it.
A specific attention will be reserved to the peculiar cultural and artistic aspects of the Eighties, some of them rooted in the Seventies.

The ambition of these meetings is to define the complex passage from the Seventies to the new decade, thanks to the polyphonic narrations offered by the participants. A starting point will be constituted by a personal object that each guest has asked to bring with him.

Anni ‘80: lo specchio infranto. Visioni di un passato prossimo wants to create an informal occasion to share knowledge, experiences and memories.
