The Promise of the Screen is a dispositive that I developed since 2007. It consist in a screening of marginal aspects of cinema as titling, the posters, and recurrent motives which though turn the gaze from the screen to other media as poetry, typography, drawing. These scenes, that I edit following a certain logic that is made apparent in the developing of the event, are projected on a screen that at specific times opens, or folds, transforming the space from a projection room to a bar.*
